Source: John J. Minter, 7 November 2005: The most significant and enjoyable find [during a visit to Yorkshire] was the Minter gravestone in St.Paul's Churchyard, Alverthorpe (near where I was born.) The grave contains Ann Minter - the first wife of my Grandfather William James - and George Amos Minter - the son of William James and his second wife Violet Bramley. Uncle George Amos was killed by a horse age 10years 10months in 1907. (S70)
