Report from the Hebden Bridge Times of 18 February 1977 of the inquest into John Minter's death. His son John J Minter says "His war service in the Royal Engineers (scrambling about looking for German Glass Mines and being mortared in Normandy fields) didn't get him, but an insidious disease did."
