  Notes	A John Minter was buried at Elham, aged 1 year, on 19 April 1835. However, a John appears as the son of Stephen and Elizabeth Minter in the 1841 census. One possibility is that the John who appeared in the 1841 census was an adopted "replacement" for the John who died in 1835. In later life, John became known as John T Minter. 1870 U. S.
