Tjuana Jean Minter, 92, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021.

Tjuana was born October 13, 1929 to Fred and Roma Davis in a small quiet town on a Sunday afternoon in Chickasha, Oklahoma. As a child she was a tomboy and climbed a lot of trees that she broken an arm once while doing so, she loved school and made very good grades. While in middle school she met her husband, Jim and began dating and were both together ever since. She graduated with honors, and went to TCU and majored in Business. She was a member of Saint Anns Epicopalian in Fort Worth for 15 years.

Tjuana had everything planned, but life, however, had different plans for her. She went to an instructors class for dance and was asked to teach at Arthur Murray Dance Studio, in which she won a few awards. She took the job and loved it. She taught all types of dance, Rhumba, Samba, Waltz, and even exhibitions, she was so wrapped up in her career she never had children. After a long life lived, she retired in which she volunteered for seniors and hospitals, enjoyed crocheting, shopping, and lounging, she referred herself as a boring person, she very much liked being at home, watching t.v. especially I love lucy and westerns, her favorites were sleeping, quiet, calm and soothing places. She loved her pet poodle, Coco which she had for 15 years and had a cat named, Pernod a Licorice Liquor.

      Survivors: friend, Jim Rezac.
