Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Marvin James and the Rev. James P. Cobb, of First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street.
Mrs. Hunsley was born in 1903 in Plattsburg, Mo., to William and Elizabeth Parr where she lived until her marriage to Arch B. Hunsley. In 1924 they moved to Amarillo until 1946 at which time they moved to a ranch outside of Canyon. They later subdivided this land into "Hunsley Hills."
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Brown Adams and husband, Bill, of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Gladys Dowell and Dorothy Fagin, both of Amarillo; four grandchildren, Charles Joseph and wife, Carolyn, of Fair Oaks Ranch, Susan Brown Gully of Houston, Henry Marshall Brown and wife, Ellen, of Jackson, Miss., and A. Barker Brown of Corpus Christi; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
The body will not be available for viewing.
