His parents married around 1897. They were blessed with one son before Julius died two years after the birth of that son, Oscar. His mother married Richard A. Morris in 1914. This union would produce one son, George F. Morris. The family made their home in Yolo County, west-northwest of Sacramento. Nettie was a widow by 1930. She and her two sons lived in Napa, CA. Nettie passed away in Napa. She is buried next to her first husband, Julius in Winter, CA. Oscar was a US Navy WW II Veteran. He married Claudine Velda Minter in Dec (sic). 23, 1944.
