Both died in the 1890s so there are no more census records to look at (the 1890 census having been largely destroyed by fire). A copy of Richard's Will is at Ancestry.com in the collection 'Missouri, U.S., Wills and Probate Records, 1766-1988'. It was made on 1 June 1898 by Richard Minter "of the City of Windsor, County of Henry, State of Missouri". Richard left one dollar to his children Benjamin B Minter, Robert S Minter, Eliza Jane N----- and Harriet W CANES, then the whole of the rest of his estate to his daughter Mary J DUVALL. According to Richard's obituary, there were 7 children altogether.
