  Notes	From legacy.com: Sue Minter November 7, 1961 - May 2, 2023 Sue Randall Clift Minter, 61, of Martinsville, Va., passed away to her heavenly home on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. She was born on Tuesday, November 7, 1961, in Martinsville, to the late John Rucker Clift, Jr. and Carol Ann Polk Elliott. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Ronnie Minter, Jr.; son, James Brandon Minter; daughter, Brittany Minter Stumborg (Doug); grandchildren, Luke and Owen Stumborg; sister, Carrie Clift Powell; brother, John Rucker Clift, III (Kim); sister-in-law, Kim Minter Artz (Ron); as well as many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Chatham Heights Baptist Church. She loved her family deeply and enjoyed caring for them and doing for others. She liked the outdoors, birdwatching and photographing nature. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, painting, and listening to music. Sue was a hard worker who was very committed to her job as the IT Director for VF Knitwear before retiring in 2017. A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at McKee-Stone Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Chatham Heights Baptist Church and will be officiated by the Reverend Dr. Mike Hatfield. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Chatham Heights Baptist Church, 1235 Chatham Road, Martinsville, VA 24112 or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 3907, Martinsville, VA 24112. McKee-Stone Funeral Home, Martinsville, Va. is serving the family.
