      LINEVILLE - Services for Audie Minter, 97, will be today at 3 p.m. at Clay County Funeral Home, with Revs. E. E. Miller and Buford Gaines officiating.

      Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

      Mrs. Minter passed away Sunday at Lineville Nursing Facility.

      Mrs. Minter is survived by three sons, Byron A. Minter of Oxford, Charles H. Minter of Lineville and Paul Minter of Heflin; two sis-ters, Maudie Coleman and Bessie Short, both of Lineville; one brother, Hoyt Price of Hamilton; six grandchildren, Regeania Chambers, Jerri Hensley, Ken Minter, Kevin Minter, Bobby Engstrom and Terry Minter; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

      Pallbearers will be Ken Minter, Kevin Minter, Bobby Engstrom, Terry Minter, Shon Dukes, Jim Sawyer and Jeff Baker.

      A native and lifelong resident of Clay County, Mrs. Minter was retired from Higgins Manufacturing Company and was a member of Bellview Baptist Church and Oak Grove Women's Club.

      Mrs. Minter was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Edger Minter.
