  Notes	There's a second Israel Skinner baptism at findmypast, identical to the one in 1802, except for the baptismal date, which is given as 16 Sep 1804. 1841 census: in Witcomb Place, Cheltenham (all SKINNER), Israel (30, male servant), Mary (25), Thomas (5), Julia (4) and John (2). The parents weren't born in Gloucestershire but the children were. 1851 census: in Whitcomb Place, Cheltenham (all SKINNER), Israel (head, married, 48, cook, born Aston on Carrant, Glos), Julia (daughter, 14, scholar, born Gloucester) and John (son,12, scholar, born Cheltenham). Also lodgers, the Pollard family. 1861 census: 2 Fairview Place, Cheltenham (both SKINNER), Israel (as ISRAIL) (head, married, 66(!), man cook, born Ashchurch, Glos) and Mary (wife, 52, born Stourport, Worcestershire) Also 2 lodgers. Israel died in 1870. In the 1871 census his widow Mary, aged 59, was living with her son Thomas E SKINNER, his wife and family, at 2 Fairview Place (Mary's home in 1861).
