  Notes	From findagrave.com, Dec 2014: The funeral for Ethel Clement Minter, 89, of Mount Olivet Road, Martinsville, who died April 11, 2011, at her home, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville with the Rev. Dr. Michael Hatfield officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. She was born in Patrick County on Aug. 18, 1921, to Charlie and Nancy Matthews Clement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton R. "Sam" Minter; two sisters, Hazel Nunn and Olive Lawrence; and two brothers, Robert and Tommy Clement. She retired from Piedmont Trust Bank (now BB&T), where she worked for more than 20 years, and was a member of Chatham Heights Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Pat Jones of Martinsville; a son, Charles "Chuck" Minter of Martinsville; one sister, Betty Sue Joyce of Johnson City, Tenn.; a brother, Charles Clement of Ararat; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
