Both Zachary and his wife died before the 1910 census. The following was copied from findagrave.com: "Z. T. Minter died yesterday at his home, 408 Colby street, aged 63 years. The funeral will be from the residence to Oakland Cemetery at 3 o'clock this afternoon. Mr. Minter was a native of Germany*. He came to Texas twenty years ago and had lived in Dallas two years. His widow and four children survive him. Dallas News 01-01-1910 Transcribed by Carol Moore" * it's unclear where this idea came from - census record indicate he was born in Kentucky.
