12 January 1909: Henry (described as an engraver) appeared as a character witness for Catling at the Old Bailey trial of Joseph Stoddart and Frederick Ernest Catling who were charged with deception and fraud. Stoddart was found guilty and given 18 months plus costs but Catling was found not guilty on one charge and the jury could not agree a verdict on the second charge.
