A note on wife Edna's record at findagrave.com says her husband predeceased her in 1960 but I can't find his death at findagrave.com, unless it is the one for William S Minter, 2 Jul 1902 - 19 Feb 1961, buried at Kermit Cemetery, Kermit, Winkler Couny, Texas. This death is paired with that of Margurite Minter, 4 Sep 1911 - 21 Jun 1972. There are death certificates for both of these. The one for William shows his full name as William Smith Minter, father John (sic) Minter, mother Harriott M SMITH, so I guess this is the same person and that William must have divorced and re-married.
