  Notes	Mel Morris on Genes Reunited has an interest in this family. Francis Daniel was baptised in the Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Greenwich on 11 December 1859 and then in Church of England Church of St Alphage, Greenwich on 28 December 1859. Thanks to Christine Small who discovered this. East Street, Greenwich (Francis Daniel's birthplace) is now Eastney Street, Greenwich (per Christine Small, June 2010). 1871 census (indexed as MINKE by Ancestry.com): aged 11, a scholar at Green Coat School, Greenwich. Another scholar was a Frederick A HARRYMAN, aged 9, possibly a relative of Francis's wife-to-be. Boreman's green coat school was founded in 1672; educates and supports sons of native seamen, watermen, or fishermen. 1881 census: no trace. December 1882: a labourer of East Lane, Greenwich. When daughter Catherine Ann was baptised Francis and Mary lived at 7 Lower East Street, Greenwich. Francis was a labourer. When daughter Sarah Lizzie was baptised Francis and Mary lived at 94 Lower East Street, Greenwich. Francis was a labourer. When daughter Daisy was baptised in 1888 Francis and Mary lived in Lower East Street, Greenwich. Francis was a labourer. Ditto when Maria Frances was baptised in 1890. When daughter Daisy (2) was baptised in 1893 Francis and Mary lived at 98 Lower East Street, Greenwich. Francis was a labourer. 1891 census: at 98 East Street, Greenwich, Francis D (31, general labourer), Mary J (28), Alice M (8), Katherine A (6), Sarah L (4), Daisy (2) and Maria F (9 months). 1901 census: at 12 Conley Road, Greenwich, Francis D (41, builder's labourer), Mary J (38), Katherine A (16, domestic servant), Maria F (10), Daisey (7), Walter W (5) and Albert G (4 months). Daughter Alice (19) was a kitchenmaid at 17 Buckingham Gate, Westminster (indexed as MENTER by Ancestry.com). Daughter Sarah (14) was a general servant at 103 Lewisham Road, Lewisham, London. In 1906 Francis, painter, and Mary were at 6 Queen Street, Greenwich. 1911 census: at 58 Eastney Street, East Greenwich, Kent (4 rooms), Francis D (head, 51, painter, G[greenwich] B[orough] Council, worker, born Greenwich, Kent), Mary Jane (wife, 48, married 29 years, 10 children, 9 living 1 died, born Greenwich), Albert George (son, 10, school), Sydney Frank (son, 8, school) and Violet Ada (daughter, 4, school).
