  Notes	From findagrave.com, Dec 2014: Mildred Dove Compton, 82, of 472 Mountain Mist Dr., died July 11, 2004, at the Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. She was born Sept. 4, 1921, to Harry L. and Gracie Minter Dove. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn C. Rumley; a sister, Mary Dove; and four brothers, Clifford Dove, Joe Dove, Fred Dove, and Doug Dove. She retired from the Henry County School System. She was a long-time member of Chatham Heights Baptist Church, where she worked in the nursery for many years. Surviving are her husband, James W. Compton, of the home; a daughter, Faye C. Reynolds of Chatham; a sister, Mamie Lawson of Martinsville; a brother, Leonard Dove, of Martinsville; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chatham Heights Baptist Church. Dr. Michael Hatfield will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. today at McKee-Stone Funeral Services and at other times at the home
