  Notes	From findagrave.com, Dec 2014: Leonard W. Dove, 85, of Martinsville, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005, at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville. He was born on Nov. 3, 1919, to Harry Lee Dove and Gracie Elnore Minter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, William Glenwood Dove; three sisters, Mildred Dove Compton, Mary Dove and Clara Ann Dove; and four brothers, Clifford Lee Dove, Joseph "Dee" Dove, Fred Morton Dove and Douglas Glenwood Dove. Dove served in the Army during World War II. He worked at Martinsville Novelty Co. for many years and retired from Pulaski Furniture. Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Mary Walls Dove of the home; a daughter, Dee Dove of Reidsville, N.C.; a son, Mike Dove of Patrick County; one sister, Mamie Dove Lawson of Martinsville; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at McKee-Stone Funeral Services chapel with the Rev. Dr. Michael Hatfield officiating. Burial will be in the Dove family cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Dove Family Cemetery Fund, c/o Ricky Dove, 659 Mountain Mist Drive, Martinsville, Va. 24112.
