| Notes |
- Baptised the son of John and Mary DRAKE.
It's worth noting that throughout the period in which Joseph and his wife were having children, a John DRAKE and his wife Harriet WRINCH (who married at All Saints, Brightlingsea on 22 November 1809) were also having children. Some Public Member trees at Ancestry.com have Joseph and John as brothers but none as far as I can see have found evidence to support the idea. So I'm not including John DRAKE as Joseph's brother but for the record, here's a list of John and Harriet's childrens' baptisms, all at All Saints, Brightlingsea:
6 April 1819 - Nancy**
28 June 1821 - Martha
27 July 1823 - George
12 Decemeber 1825 - twins George and Sarah
24 May 1829 - Rebecca
16 November 1831 - Sarah
** Nancy married Shepherd PENNICK (qv) in 1845.
