"Ken was one of the greatest 16ft skiff legends that has ever sailed, winning 4 National Championships and 3 NSW State Championships along with numerous inter club and club championships. A true gentleman both on and off the water but still victorious in his quests. He was truly an inspiration to all sailors at GRSC both young and old".
Ken MINTER was also a prominent sportsman in addition to sailing of his time and excelled in Rugby League & Baseball. In 1946 he married Joan Florence FLEMING at Newtown NSW.
