  Notes	According to the Sparks Family Tree at Ancestry.com, having emigrated to Australia after her husband George had died, Emma married William Aiton McGHIE on 23 December 1889. [This is confirmed by a marriage index record among the Queensland bdm records.] Apparently however, Mr McGhie was already married and when Emma found out she left him to return to England. Sadly, she and two of her children perished when the ship she was on, the RMS Quetta, hit a rock and sank off Cooktown, Queensland on 28 February 1890. I haven't been able to find out the names of the two children who drowned with Emma but the Sparks Family Tree indicates that they were Habakkuk, born Q4 1882 and Emma Jane, born Q2 1884.
