    Notes
    • It is a working assumption (as of December 2003) that Edward Minter of Great Horkesley came from the Myntar family in West Bergholt.
February 2013: the baptism in West Bergholt on 17 June 1739 of Edward Myntar, son of Edward & Elizabeth Myntar, has now been found. This establishes beyond reasonable doubt that the Great Horkesley Minters originated with the West Bergholt Myntars.

The burial in 1803 is most probably this Edward Minter.
