      Mrs. Bonnie Minter Green Payne, age 71, of Crockett, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Payne was born September 30, 1939 in Leon County, Texas and had lived in Crockett most of her lifetime. She was retired having worked as a secretary for Northland Cable and was a member of the San Pedro Baptist Church.

      Preceded in death by husband, Sherry Green; husband, Ken Payne; parents, L. E. Minter, Sr. and Mae Minter; brother, L .E. Minter, Jr. and sister, Essie Ray.

      Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Minter Green Payne will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Callaway '96 Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tommy Hutto officiating. Interment will follow in the New Energy Cemetery.
