      Thomas Jerald "Tom" Minter, age 85 of Latexo, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at his home. Tom was born December 18, 1938 to parents, Silvan Thomas Minter and Marie Lively Minter. He graduated from Latexo High School, Class of 1956. Tom worked for Houston Power and Light as a lineman for several years then became involved in rodeos where he was a bull rider, horse trainer, and also a clown. He was the trail ride boss for many years, a hay baler, and most of all a "Hell Raiser".
      Tom is survived by numerous good friends including George Ambriz and wife, Mary of Houston, their children, George Jr., Julie, Andrew, and Valerie Ambriz of Houston, Ronny and Shelly Waller of Crockett.
      Visitation for Thomas Jerald "Tom" Minter will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
