Townsville, Cowra, NSW, Australia [3, 4] |
- The announcement in the Sydney Morning Herald reads:
MINTER–TOWNSEND.–December 20, at Townsville, Canowindra, by Rev. F. S. Wilson, Gordon Kennedy Minter, to Helena, eldest daughter of Thomas Townsend, Esq.
This cannot be correct since Townsville is in Queensland and Canowindra is in New South Wales. It should probably have said "Townsville, Cowra" - Cowra is the Registartion District in which the marriage was registered.
