  Notes	From findagrave.com, May 2015: Mrs. Bettie Sue LaRue, age 81, of Crockett, passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 in the Houston County Nursing Home. She was born October 30, 1929 in Belott and had lived most of her lifetime in the area. Mrs. LaRue was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone having worked as an operator and was a member of the Grace Street Church of Christ. Survivors include husband, Charles L. LaRue of Crockett; sister, Carrie Bennett of Crockett; niece, Sue Strban and husband, Steve of Crockett; nephews, Kenneth Bennett and wife, Carla of Slidell, Louisiana, Larry Bennett and wife, Myra of Crockett; great-niece, Kim Duhon and husband, Randy of Grapeland; numerous great nieces, great nephews and other relatives. Preceded in death by husband, Charles L. Durst; parents, Grover and Nora Bell (Brooks) Minter; sisters, Berta Nell Gilbert and Nora Bell Minter and brothers, Grover Minter, Jr. and Wendall Minter. Graveside services for Mrs. Bettie Sue LaRue will be held Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Cemetery. Interment will follow. Family will receive friends Friday evening 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences for Mrs. Larue may be left at online obituaries www.callawayallee.com.
