      EDEN Lottie Riddle Minter (Mrs. Gold Minter), 94, formerly of Cascade Ave., died Wednesday, April 6, 2005, in Winston-Salem.

      The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at 11 at Dan River Primitive Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by Elder Kenneth Key and Elder Raymond Goad. Internment will follow at the church cemetery.

      Mrs. Minter was born in Henry County, Va., on July 5, 1910, to the late John Ira Riddle and Lenora Eanes Riddle. She was a member of Dan River Primitive Baptist Church. She was a life member of the Republican Party of Rockingham County and a volunteer at Morehead Memorial Hospital from 1974 - 1996 when her health failed. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She cherished her role as a homemaker which was evident in the way she always took such pride in caring for her family and friends.

      Mrs. Minter was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Gold Minter, a son-in-law, George S. Law, a niece, Lottie M. Law and her husband, Roy Law, two sisters, Alva Hailey and Virginia Garrett and two brothers, Willie and Emmet Riddle.

      She is survived by her daughter, Juanita M. Law; granddaughter Delores Law Sanders and husband Robert; great-grandchildren, Kirk and Caroline Sanders, all of Winston- Salem; great-nephew and great-niece, Larry Law and wife Rhonda of Kernersville and Linda Law Sasser and husband, David of High Point; a sister, Betty Everlena Cannaday of Eden and many beloved nieces and nephews.
