His address is shown as 'Craigieburn', Bowral, New South Wales. Full service record is at NAA. www.awm.gov.au: William Vincent Minter, 31, farmer of "Craigieburn", Bowral, NSW, next of kin wife Mrs Beatrice Emma Minter, same address embarked on the HMAT Ascanius on 25 October 1916 at Sydney. He was a Private, no. 2950, in the 55 Infantry Battalion - 6 to 9 Reinforcements (October 1916 - January 1917). As William Vincent and Beatrice Emma, appear in the 1930, 1936 and 1937 Australian Electoral Rolls in Wiseman's Ferry, Robertson, NSW.

  	The announcement in the Sydney Morning Herald reads: MINTER–TOWNSEND.–December 20, at Townsville, Canowindra, by Rev. F. S. Wilson, Gordon Kennedy Minter, to Helena, eldest daughter of Thomas Townsend, Esq. This cannot be correct since Townsville is in Queensland and Canowindra is in New South Wales. It should probably have said "Townsville, Cowra" - Cowra is the Registartion District in which the marriage was registered.
