  Notes	Originally, this person appeared on Cliff Minter's Canterbury chart as 'George Edwin Minter - a farmer of Eugowra in 1919, married ---- Richmond White'. It appears (November 2011) that some of this information was wrong and that: 1. the name was George Edward Minter 2. the marriage (in 1922) was to Nellie F WHYTT (the groom's name just George E Minter). No trace of the birth registration of George, as either George Edwin or George Edward, has been found in the NSW online BMD index. As of November 2011, my record has been changed so that George's name is shown as George Edward Minter. The following Australian Electorall Roll details are all assumed to refer to this person. The 1943 Electoral Roll for Ingleburn, Werriwa, NSW included at Theresa Park: George Edward Minter, manager Nellie Frances Minter, home duties. A second listing for Nellie Frances was in Eastwood, Parramatta, at 102 Ryedale Road, home duties. The 1949 Electoral Roll for Holbrook, Farrer, NSW included at Woomarrama Estate: George Edward Minter, overseer. Nellie Frances was listed in Eastwood, Parramatta, at 102 Ryedale Road, home duties. The 1954 Electoral Roll for Temora Hume, NSW included at RMB 39, Illabo: George Edward Minter, station manager. Nellie Frances was listed in Eastwood, Parramatta, at 102 Ryedale Road, home duties. The 1958 & 1963 Electoral Rolls for Eastwood, Parramatta, NSW included at 76 Ryedale Road: George Edward Minter, no occupation Nellie Frances Minter, home duties. Death notice in Sydney Morning Herald on 24 August 1973: died aged 90, late of Waitara, formerly of Eastwood.

  	The announcement in the Sydney Morning Herald reads: MINTER–TOWNSEND.–December 20, at Townsville, Canowindra, by Rev. F. S. Wilson, Gordon Kennedy Minter, to Helena, eldest daughter of Thomas Townsend, Esq. This cannot be correct since Townsville is in Queensland and Canowindra is in New South Wales. It should probably have said "Townsville, Cowra" - Cowra is the Registartion District in which the marriage was registered.
