The book also contained a separate entry for Yvonne M Minter of 205/176 Glenmore Road, Paddington, NSW - it's not clear whether this referred to Michael's wife.

The following appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald.

      1.
      MINTER, Michael Mervyn.

      August 11, 2011, peacefully.
      Late of Waverley

Beloved partner of Yvonne (deceased) *. Beloved uncle of Duncan and Jonathan Sweeney, Susannah Penton, Petrina Balmain, Mandy, Robert and Tom Gordon.
Beloved brother of Tempe Gordon (dec), Doreen Sweeney (dec) and Hugh Minter (dec).

      Aged 76 years.

The family and friends of Michael are warmly invited to attend his funeral service to be held at the Eastern Suburbs Crematorium on Friday, 19th August 2011, commencing at 12.15pm in the West Chapel.

      * Yvonne may have been the Yvonne Minter who died on 9 January 2008. In the report of her death in the Sydney Morning Herald she was described as 'late of Paddington, formerly of Orange, wife of Michael, mother of Kareens, David and Rachel (all deceased)'. In fact, this Yvonne (64) was stabbed to death in Woodward Street, Orange by her daughter Rachel Hemsworth (38), who then committed suicide. The case was reported in the press through 2008 but none of the reports say who Yvonne Minter's husband was. It therefore remains to be confirmed that this note is relevant to Michael Mervyn Minter.

      Richard Luke Aug 16, 2011
For more than 20 years I (Richard Luke) enjoyed a productive and loving friendship with Michael.
He was the conceptual engineer and I was the trained journalist who collaborated to publish the book The Integrity Factor.
The book was nearly all of Mike's work, in terms of content and opinion.
It enabled me to understand why Mike focused on getting the right church structure, including the eldership system, and why in his view hierarchies don't bring out the best in congregations.
In 1995 and 1996 Mike and I were part of a nucleus group called the Philippians 4:8 Fellowship, which soon became known as the P4:8 club and was considered a daring initiative in our church the Worldwide Church of God (WCG).
This fellowship inspired our involvement in a number of home fellowships and bible studies.
For 12 years we shared a Thursday lunch table at Wesley Mission, where we invited people to join us and was renown for its lively discussions.
