      "BLACK, Gary David - Of St. Thomas and formerly of Montreal, passed away suddenly, on Thursday, January 31st, 2019, at his residence, at the age of 70. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Dorothy (Roach) Black and dear brother of Donald Black (Yiyi) and their children Carlos and Alex. Dear cousin of Susan Christmas (Steve) and their daughter Emma. Dear nephew of Ivy and Jeff Minter of Eastbourne, England. Gary was born in Montreal on November 30th, 1948, the son of Marjorie (Minter) Black and the late Donald Black. He worked for Rothmans Benson and Hedges for 47 years. Gary supported Knox Presbyterian Church. Resting at WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME , 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas for visitation on Friday, February 8th from 2-4 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at Knox Presbyterian Church Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Visitation on Saturday at the Church from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to University Hospital (Heart Unit or I.C.U.)
