Also Alice M POPE (sister, 33, widow), William H POPE (nephew, 6) and James W POPE (nephew, 4 and a bit). 1930 United States Federal Census: in Corpus Christi, Nueces, Texas (all MINTER, born Texas) Kenneth C (head, 40, minister Methodist Church), Frances (wife, 38), Mary F (daughter, 13), Betty (daughter, 11), Anna (daughter, 8) and Kenneth Jr (son, 6) Living in the Parsonage. 1940 United States Federal Census: in Gonzales, Gonzales, Texas (all MINTER, born Texas) Kenneth C (head, 50, pastor, church), Frances (wife, 48), Alice E (daughter, 21, book-keeping at college), Anna L (daughter, 18, stenographer at university), Kenneth (son, 15), David L (son, 5) and Judith A (daughter, 5). Kenneth's death certificate gives his occupation as Minister, Methodist Church. The primary causes of death are said to have been a crushed skull and internal injuries. His wife Frances died on the same day of a fractured skull and internal injuries. They died on Highway 190, 12 miles east, Livingston, Texas. This suggests a motor accident but such isn't mentioned on the certificate (son Kenneth's 2016 obituary confirms it was a car wreck).
