  Notes	Phyllis was born on 9 November 1915 in Folkestone, the illegitimate daughter of Florence May OSBORNE. She went to live with Albert Victor and Emily MINTER when she was just over 4 years old - this was attested to in a statement given to the police on 27 May 1938 by Emily Minter during the investigation of Phyllis's murder. As can been seen from the police statement, Phyllis's marriage to Arthur Charles SPIERS didn't last very long. A few years later, in May 1938, Phyllis was murdered in Folkestone.
