  Notes	1850 United States Federal Census, done on 17 October: in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi (all MINTER), Thomas M (29, farmer, born South Carolina), Ann Eliza (23, born Kentucky), Marion Alice (4, born Mississippi) and William R (1, born Mississippi). Thomas died before the 1860 census was taken. Between 1850 and 1860 Thomas and Ann Eliza appear to have had another son, James Clemons MINTER, who at age 7 was living with his grandfather. According to 'Mom's side4 (added marion gedcom)', a tree at ancestry, Thomas's wife was Elizabeth REID and she is said to have died in 1860, which would help explain why I can't find her in the 1860 census. According to the same tree, Marrion Alice died in 1898, another child, Reid MINTER was born in 1846 and William R MINTER's history after 1850 is unknown.
