Bell The funeral for Mary Lou Minter Bell, 88, of 1331 Rivermont Heights Road, Martinsville, who died March 3, 2007, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Starling Avenue Baptist Church with Dr. David W. Adkins officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. today at the church and other times at the home of her son, David L. Bell, 1334 Rivermont Heights Road, Martinsville. She was born Feb. 27, 1919, in Henry County to James Woody Minter and Georgie McMillan Minter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Thomas "C.T." Bell; two sisters, Ora Wilson and Gladys Katherine Pulliam Brown; and a daughter, Betty Bell Agee. She retired from Bassett-Walker and was a member of Starling Avenue Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Bell Hardy of Ridgeway and Linda Bell Hylton Minter of Martinsville; two sons, Samuel T. Bell and David L. Bell, both of Martinsville; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Starling Avenue Baptist Church "Youth Fund," 932 Starling Ave., Martinsville, Va. 24112. Norris Funeral Services and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
