- Thomas was buried, aged 53 of Church Street, Islington.
When he wrote his Will on 26 January 1822 Thomas was of Church Street, Islington, a gentleman, and late of Brutons Coffee House, Newgate Street *, a victualler, and of the London Stock Exchange. He held the lease on a house in Chapter House Court and on Brutons or Struttons Coffee House, as well as having a freehold estate at Court Stairs, Pegwell Bay, Kent. In the Will:
- his mother was granted an annuity of twenty pounds yearly;
- his wife was to receive rent from the Coffee House and was otherwise a beneficiary;
- his sisters Mary and Ann were beneficiaries;
- his sister Elizabeth was a beneficiary and was left occupancy of the Court Stairs estate during the term of her natural life;
- his brother Henry was a beneficiary and one of the executors;
- his brother Robert was a beneficiary.
The Will does not mention Thomas's oldest sister Sarah.
