  Notes	From her obituary at www.knesekfuneralhome.com Patsy Ann Barras was born on January 13, 1935, in Ranger, Texas. She gained her heavenly wings on February 3, 2020, with a peaceful passing at home surrounded by family. She will be missed by many, but free from pain. She will be greeted in heaven by Jesus, Jerry (husband) and many other relatives and friends. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to everyone she knew. Pat spent many years being a caregiver for her family and friends. Later in life, she held a position as a caregiver for the elderly and helped their families deal with the loss of their loved ones. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing card games and most of all BINGO. Everyone knew Pat for her Candy, Pies, and Cakes! Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Gladys and Clifford (Bull) Minter, husband of 28 years, Gerald (Jerry) Barras Sr., brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Sylvia Minter, sister and brother-in-law, Francis and Byron (Boots) Hawthorne, sister-in-law, Verleene Minter. Pat leaves behind a brother, James (Jim) Minter, sister and brother-in-law, Catherine (Cathy) and Ellender (Len) Arceneaux. Children, son Paul and wife Pam Highfill, daughter Brenda Mata, daughter Linda Barras, and son Gerald (Tiger) and wife Kim Barras. She also left behind thirteen (13) Grandchildren, thirteen (13) great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020, from 5 pm to 8 pm and Saturday, February 8, 2020, from 9 am to 10 am with Services to commence at 10 am.
