  Notes	From findagrave.com: Oct 26, 2012 The funeral for Cecil Neal Minter, 75, of Martinsville, who died Oct. 24, 2012, at the Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, will be at 2 p.m. at Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Axton with the Rev. Charles Harrison officiating. Burial will be in the County Line Christian Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Minter was born March 2, 1937 [1936 per marriage certificate], in Henry to Jesse Thomas Minter and Lena Bray Minter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, Herman Bernard Hall; four brothers, Stafford Minter, Sammy Minter, James Minter and Lynn Minter; two sisters, Margaret Minter and Lottie Mink; and a step-granddaughter, Shannon Nicole Hall. He attended Assembly of God in Martinsville and Clearview Baptist Church. Surviving are three sons, Jesse Neal Minter and Jeffrey Neal Minter, both of Martinsville, and Raymond Neal Minter of Fieldale; two daughters, Dianne Minter of Rocky Mount and Mary Ann Minter of Mayodan, N.C.; four stepsons, Herbert Wade Hall of Fieldale, Russell Ray Hall of Spencer, William Dale Hall of Martinsville and Terry Lee Hall of Winston-Salem, N.C.; a stepdaughter, Dorothy Ann Sandoval of Los Angeles; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Herman Minter of Axton; and two sisters, Nellie Hatfield and Fannie Kimball, both of Axton.
