  Notes	From norrisfuneral.com, Dec 2014: Glenwood Thomas Minter, Jr., 57, of 120 Minter Farm Lane, Axton, VA, died Friday, September 3, 2010 in the Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. Born in Henry County November 29, 1952, he was a son of the late Glenwood Thomas Minter and Nannie Ola Wilson Minter. Glenwood was preceded in death by three brothers, Steve Edward Minter, Danny Ray Minter and Kenneth Wade Minter. Glenwood was of the Holiness Faith. He graduated from Laurel Park High School in 1972 and was a self-employed plumber and electrician and was a member of the Martinsville Moose Lodge. Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Susan Michelle Helms and husband Tony Edward Helms of Bassett; a son and daughter-in-law, Shannon Thomas Minter and wife Kristy Marlowe Minter of Axton; two sisters, Bonnie Diane Minter of Axton and Donna Gail Mason of Martinsville; two brothers, Ben Carol Minter of Fayetteville, NC and Joe Pedro Minter of Axton; three grandchildren, Roger Allen Helms, Dakota Shane Helms and Christopher Lee Minter. The funeral will be conducted from the Martinsville Chapel of Norris Funeral Services, Monday, September 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gary Robertson officiating. Interment will be in the Wilson-Minter Family Cemetery in Axton. The family will receive friends at Norris Funeral Services, Sunday, September 3, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at other times will be at the home of his sister, Bonnie Minter, 1019 Centerville Road, Axton.
