- The 1911 census indicates that Edward was 8 at the time of the census. Two Edward William Minters were registered in Q3 1902, one at Wandsworth (1d/758), the other at Lambeth (1d/465). The first of these probably relates to Edward William of the Thorpe-le-Soken group, and the second to the Ash Edward William. The birth certificate would settle the issue.
There is also doubt about which of the Edward Williams married Elsie Eborall. One of them died age 9 in Q3 1911 (St George Hanover Square). For the time being it is assumed that the one who died was the Thorpe-le-Soken Edward William and that the other one married Elsie Eborall.
