February 2016: Linda Ferguson, Alithea Curtis's gt gt gt granddaughter, has a copy of the Rackheath, Norfolk parish register in which the marriage is recorded. The details are: Robert Cossey of this parish single man and Elitha Curtis of this parish single woman were married in this church by banns with consent of [blank] this twenty third day of March in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty four. Both parties marked, as did the witnesses Edward Stone (who witnessed other marriages around this time) and William Waters.
