  Notes	Translation of birth certificate provided by Jackie Lefranc, November 2011: On this day 23rd September 1854 at 12.30 p.m, Henry Teetgen MINTER 37, hotelier in this town, 2 rue de la Flotille came before us the undersigned deputy mayor of Boulogne sur mer (Pas de Calais) to declare his wife Catherine GREENFIELD 36, gave birth to a female child at 6.30 a.m on the 20th of this month and they wish to name her EUGENIE BYRON. The said declaration and presentation of the child was witnessed by George HORRELL 60,of independant means and resident in Boulogne and Edwin PAWLEY 23, Maitre d'hotel on a steam liner from London. After the reading the father and witnesses signed the declaration. 1881 census: at 16 S Berkley St, Marylebone, London, Eugen-- B (lady's maid, born France) Witness at sister Catherine's marriage in 1883. In 1887 Eugenie accompanied her brother Joseph Edmund to Australia (see his Notes). 1901 census: at 12 Nelson Crescent, Ramsgate, Kent, Eugenie (38, ladysmaid, born France, Foreign Subject). 1911 census: at 15 Westbourne Grove, Paddington, London, Eugenie (45, marital status not stated, servant, born Boulogne, France.
