  Notes	Harry and Lily appeared in the 1929 Register of Electors for Boxted (copy at Essex Records Office), lving in Church Street, Boxted. 1939 Register: at Temple Bungalow, Alton R.D., Hampshire Minter, Harry born 30 Nov 1900 [should be 1901], married, chauffeur (private) Minter, Lily M born 2 Mar 1900, married, unpaid domestic duties --- 1 closed record --- DEATH: Harry C. Minter and his wife Lily are buried in the All Saints, Great Horkesley cemetery. He died in 1969 at age 67, Lily in 1950 aged 50. (Granite headstone and kerbstone with green chippings) DEATH: In the same plot is a headstone for their son Frederick who died aged 13 in 1937. Neil Minter's chart gives Harry's occupation as chauffeur. However when son Frederick was born in 1924, Harry's occupation was given as Horseman. At that time the family lived at 1 Council Houses, Boxted. Later, when son Geoffrey was baptised in 1930, the family was living at Boxted House Lodge and Harry was a Gardener. August 2007: Ivan Minter adds "Harry Minter became a chauffer to Sir John Ellerman and lived in Eastborne, where his son Geoffrey still lives." Ancestry.com.au - UK Incoming Passenger Lists, 1878-1960 has Harry Gentry Minter born 30.4.01 (sic) single (sic), of 8 Hyde Park Gardens Mews, London W2, a motor mechanic, returning to Aberdeen on 29 November 1958 from Montreal on the 'Bassano', Cabin Class. This ship was owned by Ellerman's Wilson Line Ltd. Harry and a John Andrew Wilson, born 12 June 1933, a salesman who gave his address as 607 Holborn St, Aberdeen, Scotland, appeared to be the only two passengers on board.
