James E. Minter, 84, of Fort Worth passed away Friday, March 11, 2011. Service: 3 p.m. Monday at St. Anne Episcopal Church. Burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Memorials: Saint Anne Episcopal Church or Scottish Rite Hospital.
Jim served in the submarine service duty during World War II. He was a life member of VFW Post 708 and had served as post commander. He was a 32nd-degree Mason and helped form the Lake Worth Lodge. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite and Shrine organizations. In his earlier days, Jim was a dance instructor for Arthur Murray Dance Studio. Later he owned his own business. Jim was a member of St. Anne's for over 30 years serving as an usher. He was predeceased by his mother, Frances Turner; father, Wilbur L. Minter; and sisters, Patsy Cowling and Elouise Frisby.
Survivors: His wife of 62 years, Tjuana.
