  Notes	In 1871, Charles was living with his grandparents, Thomas & Sarah, in Great Horkesley In 1881, a Charles Minter of the right age was boarding with the Gay family at 13 Merritt Road, Lewisham, Kent. In 1891, at age 37, Charles was boarding with Hannah Worley, 38. widow, and her daughter Esther (1) at 22 Brockby Cottages, Ladywell Road, Lewisham. He worked as a carman. Also boarding there was Peter Hooper, 56. In 1901, aged 47, a general labourer, Charles was lodging at Brockley Cottage, Brockley, Lewisham, still unmarried. The record of Charles's death at Lewisham Infirmary gives his address at the time he was admitted as Bermondsey Institution, Ladywell, London and shows that he was buried by the Parish.
