TX, Nancy Marium 'Mamie' Minter, the daughter of John A. Minter b. 20 Aug 1846 GA and his wife Nancy M. Parks b. 23 June 1846 who were farming in Panola Co TX in 1900. Marium 'Mamie' Minter was a sister to the Arvie Cheaverson Minter who married Sam Newton Houston's sister, Mossie Mae Houston. Another brother of Nancy Marium 'Mamie' Minter, James Gordon Minter--married another of Samuel N Houston's sisters: Minnie Ora Houston. All the minters were children of John A. Minter and his wife Nancy Parks. Sam N Houston's death certificate said he was divorced at time of death.
