  Notes	Colin Stewart found the following: DOWNEY, Reverend Richard - Peacefully, on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Tyndall Nursing Home at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Mary for 47 years. Loving father of Arwen Kamateros (Costa), Aimée (Mario Nigro) and Ken. Adored grandfather of Grace, Francesca, Riccardo and Isabella. Dear brother of John (Joelle). Rev. Downey was a priest with the Anglican Church of Canada for over 30 years. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10., N. of the QEW) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. John's Dixie Cemetery Chapel, 737 Dundas St. E., Mississauga on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 10 a.m. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Canadian Opera Company or the Alzheimer Society. Following up on the above, in October 2020 Colin wrote to the General Synod of the Anglican Church of Canada in Toronto and received the following in reply: "I can tell you that the Rev. Richard Kenneth Downey was ordained Deacon in 1973 and Priest in 1974. ASST Curate, CHRIST CHURCH, BRAMPTON, Ontario, 1973-1975 (Diocese of Toronto) Incumbent, PARISH OF FENELON FALLS - COBOCONK, Ontario, 1975-1978 (Diocese of Toronto) Incumbent, ST BARNABAS, PETERBOROUGH, Ontario, 1978-1980 (Diocese of Toronto) EDMONTON, CHRIST CHURCH, ALBERT BAY, B.C., 1983-1987 (Diocese of BRITISH COLUMBIA) Church of Holy Spirit of Peace, Dixie, Mississauga, 1988-? Not sure when he retired, but it seems he stayed in Mississauga. So, Mary [his wife] may still be there. Unfortunately, we do not have any contact information as we are the national office. You could try the church where he was buried St. John's Anglican Church, Dixie, Mississauga, Ontario to see if they can put you in contact with her."
