From findagrave.com, Mar 2015: Mr. Minter passed away Saturday at his residence. He born near Bovina in Tom Green County, Texas to William Robert Minter and Maggie Walker Minter. He helped his father and brothers raise wheat and other grains, which led to his lifelong vocation as a heavy equipment and farm machinery mechanic. Mr. Minter was a member of the Latexo Baptist Church and was a regular participant in the Men's Sunday School Class. He helped organize the Latexo Volunteer Fire Department, where he served as a volunteer through out his working years. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife of 49 years Clara Robinson Minter in 1977 and a son, Garland Minter. Pallbearers and honorary pallbeares were the Men's Sunday School class at Latexo Baptist Church. Bailey & Foster Funeral Home
