  Notes	Appearently Haley Minter Cottle died in Clay County, AL before her family mooved to moved to Texas. Records show that her last child was born in Clay Co. in 1895 and that Haley died there in 1896. The 1910 census shows the family living in Johnson County, Tx. James had remarried and had two children with his second wife. James M. Cottle had a child born to wife #2 in 1902, so we know Mahala had died by then.
