  Notes	From findagrave.com, Dec 2014: EDEN Richard Henry Minter, 84, of 604 S. Fieldcrest Road, passed away Saturday morning, Nov. 6, 2004, at Morehead Memorial Hospital. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Danview Cemetery. Mr. Minter was born on June 13, 1920, in Draper (now Eden) to the late Jesse and Susie Gregory Minter. He was a self employed book dealer and was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Minter is survived by his wife, Mildred Hylton Minter of the home; brothers, Jerry and Frank Minter of Eden; sisters, Viola Medford of Greensboro, Ruby Leonard of Newport News, Va., and Lena Wilson of Burlington; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Harvey, Robert, George and Paul Minter.
