  Notes	From findagrave.com, Dec 2014: EDEN Paul John Minter, 83, of 1935 Scott St., died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, at Morehead Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, at Immanuel Friends Church. Burial will be in Dan View Cemetery. A native of Utica, Ohio, he was a member of Immanuel Friends Church. He was a U.S. World War II Army veteran and retired from Fieldcrest Mills. Survivors are his wife, Vivian Jones Minter of the home; daughter, Meryle Shropshire of Eden; sons, Ronnie Minter and Jimmy Minter, both of Eden; brothers, Jerry Minter, Frank Minter, Richard Minter, all of Eden; sisters, Viola Medford of Greensboro, Ruby Leonard of Newport News, Va., and Lena Wilson of Burlington; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
